Time Sifters Archaeological Society represents Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Membership in Time Sifters supports local preservation and research efforts.
Membership benefits include monthly newsletter, monthly meeting, name badge, a copy of "Florida Native American Heritage Trail", exclusive tours of Florida archaeology sites and local museums, and fun.
Typical meetings feature a speaker on topics of archaeological interest. Recent and upcoming subjects include new research designs for Gamble Plantation archaeology, the Crystal River site, Maya weaving, Tuscan art, and recent discoveries in Greece.

Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month from September to May, except December, at Selby Public Library in downtown Sarasota. Meetings are held at 6 pm until 7:30 pm. Due to possible budget cuts affecting Library operations, please call or email to confirm the meeting time and place. The meetings are free and the public is invited.
The Board of Directors meets at 7pm, the second Wednesday of the month, from August through May, at 240 South Pineapple Avenue, Sarasota.
